Better late than never, we’re bringing you news from day two of New York’s Maloof Money Cup. We regret to report that Chris Cole, who won the 2009 event in California, took first place again with his highly technical but totally stink bug tricks. Dude was a robot, landing switch this after kickflip that. Whatever. Everyone in the crowd seemed to understand that fourth place winner Bastien Salabanzi was the guy who was really killing it out there. And for that matter, many of the competitors in the amateur category showed considerably better style than their pro counterparts—e.g., Ron Deily (above) coming down from a frontside 180 with enviable grace and hang time.
